TV MEIO NORTE (also known as MEIO NORTE and MN), is a Brazilian television station based in Teresina, capital of Piauí, and with concession in Timon, MA. It operates in 7 VHF and 22 UHF digital channels and is a single generator of the MEIO NORTE network.
From 1996 to 2000, TV MEIO NORTE failed to show part of the SBT program, and the Bandeirantes Network from 2004 to 2009, when it transmitted the network from 7:20 pm to 10 pm and when there were sporting events and in 2010 almost occupied the station's spaces. This stressed that the station intended to become an independent broadcaster, as was the daily TV and Amazon Sat that were captured at the time through satellite and repeat antennas. On January 1, 2011, the station left the Band to become an independent broadcaster, that is, to operate without affiliations with any Brazilian television network. From then on, the station became a generator of the MEIO NORTE network, intending to expand to the whole North-Northeast
